Help Us Build the Future of Game Creation

We’re looking for curious, creative people to help shape the next generation of mobile game development.

At Xogot, we’re building the most intuitive and powerful way to create games on iPhone and iPad—powered by the open-source Godot engine. Whether you're an aspiring developer, designer, or just love building with Godot, we have exciting roles that can help you gain hands-on experience and grow alongside a passionate indie team.

We’re currently hiring for remote positions that are suitable for entry-level applicants, including part-time and full-time opportunities. These roles are perfect for self-motivated learners, students, hobbyists, or anyone looking for a first step into the game development industry. We’re also open to starting on a contract basis.

Junior Content Creator, Game Developer Education

Location: Remote  Type: Part-Time or Full-Time  Level: Entry-Level to Early Career

Do you love learning new things and sharing what you’ve learned? Have you tried your hand at YouTube or TikTok? Dream of building a following by teaching cool stuff?

We're looking for a creator who can help developers get the most out of Xogot by making clear, engaging, and inspiring videos. Content that shows off game development on mobile, explains Godot concepts on mobile, and walks viewers through building better games using the latest features of Godot and Xogot.

This is a unique, flexible role that blends community, education, and creative content. You’ll be part of a small team helping Xogot reach and support developers around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Record and publish video tutorials, walkthroughs, and demos for YouTube, TikTok, and Shorts
  • Port existing Godot tutorials and techniques to Xogot, adapting them for mobile workflows

  • Help build a consistent voice and visual style for Xogot’s educational content
  • Occasionally create supporting content (sample projects, thumbnails, docs, social posts)
  • Interact with viewers and creators in the comments, Discord, and community spaces
  • Stay on top of trends in short-form video and indie game dev content

Ideal Candidate

  • Comfortable publishing to YouTube, TikTok, or Shorts — personally or professionally
  • Strong communicator with a clear, friendly voice and visual storytelling skills
  • Interest in game development and creative tools
  • Some familiarity with Godot or other engines (Unity, Unreal, RPG Maker, etc.) is a bonus
  • Basic editing skills and willingness to experiment with formats
  • Self-directed and excited to teach others as you learn

Documentation Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Port and adapt Godot documentation, tutorials, and guides for Xogot users
  • Write new documentation covering Xogot-specific features, UI elements, and workflows
  • Create sample projects and step-by-step tutorials
  • Organize and structure documentation pages for easy navigation
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize high-impact docs

Ideal Candidate

  • Passionate about teaching or writing clear, helpful documentation
  • Some familiarity with Godot or mobile development workflows
  • Comfortable editing Markdown and using Git (or eager to learn)
  • Bonus: experience creating demos or tutorials for game engines or creative tools

Support Specialist

Location: Remote  Type: Part-Time  Level: Entry-Level

We’re looking for a Support Specialist to help us take care of our growing user base. You’ll be the first line of support for creators using Xogot across iPhone and iPad.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to support requests via email, Discord, and other community channels
  • Investigate and reproduce bugs reported by users
  • File detailed, actionable bug reports for the engineering team
  • Build minimal Godot/Xogot projects to demonstrate issues or verify fixes
  • Test new features and updates prior to release
  • Help users troubleshoot installation, export, and project setup problems
  • Provide empathetic, clear, and timely support—especially for beginners

Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced building with Xogot on iPad or iPhone and/or Godot on desktop
  • Strong written communication skills
  • A curious, problem-solving mindset
  • Some familiarity with GitHub, mobile development, or development with other game engines is a bonus—but not required
